Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative with a strong background in the waste and recycling industry to drive new business development in the Indianapolis market.

This role is focused on generating new commercial accounts for waste collection, recycling services, and related environmental solutions. The ideal candidate is a true hunter with proven success selling into commercial and industrial clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and close new commercial waste and recycling accounts
  • Conduct site visits, waste audits, and customer needs assessments
  • Present customized waste service solutions (dumpsters, roll-off, recycling programs, etc.)
  • Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, and business owners
  • Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution
  • Maintain pipeline activity and sales reporting in CRM
  • Partner with operations to ensure successful service delivery

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in waste, recycling, or environmental services sales REQUIRED
  • Proven track record in outside B2B sales / new business development
  • Strong understanding of commercial waste services
  • Ability to self-source leads and build a territory
  • Excellent communication and closing skills
