Position Responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation files from inception through resolution
• Analyze new matters and develop litigation and case management strategies
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other workers' compensation filings
• Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation-related proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and communicate recommendations to clients
• Maintain regular communication with clients, adjusters, and support staff
• Assist with trial and hearing preparation as needed

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law (or pending bar results where applicable)
• 1–5 years of workers' compensation, insurance defense, or civil litigation experience preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
• Exceptional client service and communication skills
• Desire to develop courtroom and litigation experience
