Masonry Superintendent – Commercial Construction
A leading masonry contractor is seeking an experienced Masonry Superintendent to oversee field operations across large-scale commercial and multifamily construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering high-quality masonry on complex builds.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader with a strong commercial masonry background who can manage large crews, coordinate schedules, and drive production while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily on-site masonry operations across commercial and multifamily projects
· Manage large field crews, subcontractors, and job site personnel
· Coordinate schedules, sequencing, and material logistics across multiple phases
· Ensure all brick, block (CMU), and stone work meets project specifications
· Drive production and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
· Maintain job site safety and enforce OSHA compliance
· Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications
· Track progress and proactively resolve field issues
· Communicate updates with Project Managers, GCs, and leadership
Qualifications
· 5–10+ years of masonry experience with superintendent-level leadership
· Strong experience on commercial or multifamily projects (apartments, schools, retail, etc.)
· Deep knowledge of CMU, brick veneer, and large-scale masonry production
· Proven ability to manage large crews and fast-paced job sites
· Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
· Stable work history within masonry or commercial construction
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000 per year (based on experience)
