Retail Plant Manger
Job Summary: As a Retail Plant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and sales performance of our facility. You'll be responsible for driving product and service sales, managing personnel, ensuring facility and asset preservation, and upholding exemplary personal conduct. Your leadership and strategic thinking will contribute to the continued success of our business.
Plant Manager Key Responsibilities:

Product and Service Sales:
- Personally take an active role with your customer base to maintain and grow sales and develop a sales plan to gain new customers
- Monitor accounts receivables and collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with credit policies.
- Stay updated on company and industry products and trends to provide valuable insights to customers.
- Forecast annual sales of fertilizer, Crop Protection products, and seed to secure raw materials and supplies.

Personnel:
- Build and lead a team of full-time employees, overseeing hiring and management of seasonal staff.
- Coach and develop sales team members, helping them set goals and create individual sales plans.
- Provide support on sales calls, leverage strengths, and address areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company and governmental policies related to hiring, dismissal, and workplace conduct.

Facility and Asset Preservation:
- Supervise maintenance programs for fixed assets and rolling stock to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Prepare an annual facility maintenance plan with cost estimates for review and approval.
- Stay informed about regulatory requirements and implement compliance programs.
- Collaborate with management to meet all safety and compliance standards.

Personal Conduct:
- Prioritize the safety of all employees and visitors on the facility property.
- Promote a culture of respect among co-workers, vendors, and visitors.
- Uphold a professional demeanor and represent the company positively in the local community.
Plant Manager Qualifications:
- Proven experience in agricultural management.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Knowledge of industry trends and products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in agriculture.
