Overview

An established litigation practice is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated associate looking to handle sophisticated medical malpractice matters while building a long-term career within a collaborative litigation practice.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to manage complex cases, gain meaningful courtroom experience, and work alongside experienced litigators from case inception through resolution.

Position Highlights

  • Manage medical malpractice litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Take and defend depositions, participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex litigation matters
  • Develop litigation strategies while providing exceptional client service

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active license and good standing with the applicable state bar
  • Two to four years of medical malpractice litigation experience preferred
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
  • Experience with depositions, motion practice, hearings, and courtroom appearances preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Portable business is welcomed but not required
