Job Description

One of the nation’s fastest-growing commercial real estate law firms. Based in Newark, New Jersey, MSW represents many of the region’s leading developers, investors, lenders, and property owners in connection with complex and high-profile real estate transactions.

 

We are currently seeking to hire a Real Estate Attorney (Associate or Counsel based on experience) to join our Newark headquarters office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing matters, and borrower and lender side financing transactions.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and related transactional documents.
  • Advise lender and borrower clients in connection with financing and refinancing transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence, title and survey review, and coordinate closings.
  • Collaborate closely with MSW’s land use, litigation, and construction teams on integrated matters.

 

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey and/or New York Bar
  • 2–5 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions in a law firm setting.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
