Put Your Electrical & Controls Skills to Work

A well-established food manufacturer with 35+ years of success is adding an experienced Electrical Technician to its day-shift maintenance team.

This is more than a electrical maintenance role. You'll have the opportunity to work hands-on with 480V power, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, robotics, servos, instrumentation, and automated production equipment while becoming a go-to electrical resource for the plant.

If you enjoy troubleshooting, solving problems, and getting to the root cause of equipment issues, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot 480V three-phase systems, VFDs, motor controls, and automated equipment
  • Diagnose PLC-controlled machinery using I/O and ladder logic
  • Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems
  • Work with robotics, servo drives, sensors, instrumentation, and safety circuits
  • Perform electrical preventive maintenance and help improve equipment reliability
  • Identify recurring equipment failures and participate in root-cause analysis
  • Read and maintain electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to safely reduce downtime
  • Serve as a key electrical resource for troubleshooting and automation support

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V, VFDs, and motor controls
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled industrial equipment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and independently diagnose problems
  • Knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, and machine safety
  • Food or beverage manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC experience preferred
  • Robotics and servo experience is a plus
  • NJ electrical license, journeyman card, or apprentice registration is a plus — not required

Why This Opportunity?

  • $25–$40/hour, based on experience
  • Monday–Friday day shift
  • Benefits package
  • Work with PLCs, controls, robotics, servos, and automation
  • Established manufacturer with 35+ years of stability
  • Opportunity to take ownership of electrical troubleshooting and reliability
  • A hands-on environment where your technical expertise will make a direct impact

Occasional overtime and weekend coverage may be required.
