Millwork Drafter/Engineer, Fairfield, NJ

An established commercial interiors and millwork contractor is seeking a Millwork Drafter/Engineer to produce shop drawings for high-quality architectural millwork projects.

What you'll do:

• Prepare detailed millwork shop drawings from architectural plans
• Engineer casework and millwork for manufacturability and installation
• Revise drawings based on architect and general contractor comments
• Coordinate with project managers and the shop
• Field-verify dimensions when needed

What you bring:

• 3+ years of millwork drafting experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Microvellum or similar a plus)
• Knowledge of AWI standards, materials, and joinery
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple drawing packages
