We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to provide overall leadership and successful execution of diverse commercial construction projects within the healthcare, financial, education, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Estimating team during the Preconstruction Phase
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Mentor and support less experienced Project Management staff in daily project operations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to help identify future opportunities
- Oversee subcontractor and vendor procurement, including buyout, scope reviews, contract execution, insurance, and bonding requirements
- Lead the resolution of drawing interpretation issues, conflicts, and design errors
- Manage project documentation processes including:
- Submittals
- RFI’s
- Change Orders
- Owner Billings
- Timesheets
- Vendor/Subcontractor Billings
- Monthly Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate Owner Billings by verifying work-in-place quantities
- Review and verify monthly cost projections and forecasting
- Oversee project scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting updates
Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of building systems and construction methods
- Strong financial management skills
- Ability to independently manage all phases of a project from start to finish
