gpac is partnering with an established food manufacturer seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations at its Northvale, NJ facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader who understands production equipment, industrial automation, electrical/electronic systems, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability and enjoys developing technicians while working closely with Operations and Engineering.
The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently while driving improvements in equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and maintenance performance.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in a manufacturing maintenance leadership environment, preferably supporting high-volume production equipment.
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience involving:
Food manufacturing experience will be highly valuable given the facility's requirements surrounding GMP, sanitation, food safety, and food-grade maintenance practices.
This isn't simply a position focused on reacting to breakdowns.
The Maintenance Manager will have an opportunity to influence how the maintenance organization operates—from preventive maintenance and reliability metrics to CMMS utilization, technician development, spare-parts strategy, shift communication, and root cause analysis.
You'll work directly with Operations, Production, Engineering, OEMs, vendors, and maintenance technicians to improve plant reliability while maintaining high standards for safety and food quality.
