Tax Manager

Location: Hybrid - Nassau County
Compensation:  $140K–$175K + bonus + profit sharing 

Job Summary: This hybrid role blends remote work with in-office collaboration for real work-life balance in a firm known for it's family-first culture and tenured staff. You'll manage individual, corporate, and partnership tax compliance and advisory work for a diverse client base: preparing and reviewing returns, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting client planning. With no rigid corporate structure, you'll have direct client interaction and real decision-making authority. You'll also mentor junior staff, delegate tasks, and help shape how the team's workflow runs. Strong technical tax knowledge, sharp communication skills, and comfort with deadlines are essential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• 10 years of public accounting experience with tax management exposure.
• Stong prep + review experience
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
