Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to manage the flow of packaging materials and inventory within our manufacturing facility. This role serves as a critical liaison between warehouse operations and production departments, ensuring timely material staging and availability. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational abilities, computer literacy, and exceptional communication skills to coordinate between multiple departments in our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Oversee receiving and reconciling of all packaging materials, perform daily cycle counts of packaging and finished goods
  • Production Support: Coordinate packaging material staging, usage, and returns for production, ensuring line supply is done promptly
  • System Administration: Enter all receiving information into ERP system (PLEX), create general shippers when needed
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Serve as liaison between warehouse and production departments, supporting production supervisors
  • Logistics Planning: Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to ensure loaded drop trailers are properly spotted to dock doors for timely unloading
  • Problem Resolution: Work with Inventory Manager and Purchasing Department to resolve receiving conflicts
  • Space Optimization: Coordinate finding appropriate space in the warehouse for all materials
  • Equipment Oversight: Communicate with Warehouse Manager about any issues with forklifts or floor machines
  • Documentation Management: Complete daily shift reports and handle shipping with carriers (UPS/FedEx) for sample distribution
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain clean work areas and ensure good housekeeping practices are followed

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse setting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in inventory management
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Flexibility to occasionally work all shifts with notice, supporting 24/7 operations
  • Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience
  • Overtime: Available for weekend work and special projects
