Job Description

A top engineering firm in the area is looking to add a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in the Strucural Engineering Industry.

Geotechnical Director Responsibilities:

  • Prepare data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents relevant to a given property’s soil profile
  • Data reduction and organization to provide recommendations for foundation design
  • On-site observation of excavation techniques and soil sampling
  • Co-design multiple geotechnical engineering projects, concurrently
  • Co-coordinate and execute various projects with geotechnical staff
  • Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
  • Lead a small team of Geotechnical engineers.

Geotechnical Engineer Qualifications:

  • 7-15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • PE or EIT certification
  • Project experience with, retaining walls, slopes, and deep foundations, SOE experience a must and various methods of ground improvements
  • Software Skills: Microsoft Suite, gINT, Slide, Slope, L-Pile and geotechnical analysis software experience is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel to work sites

Geotechnical Engineer Compensation:

  • $125,000 - 175,000
