We're a growing wholesale insurance agency looking for a Renewal Underwriter who takes pride in providing outstanding service, identifying opportunities, and maintaining profitable relationships. What You'll Do

• Manage and underwrite a renewal book of commercial insurance business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail agency partners.
• Review renewal submissions, analyze risk, and negotiate competitive terms with carrier partners.
• Identify cross-sell and account growth opportunities.
• Work closely with producers and carrier underwriters to develop creative solutions for clients.
• Ensure timely renewals while maintaining underwriting profitability and service excellence.
• Stay current on market conditions, carrier appetite, and industry trends.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years experience underwriting commercial insurance renewals within a wholesale brokerage, MGA, or E&S environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverage and underwriting principles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys delivering exceptional service.
