Mechanical Engineer / Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP

Compensation: $120,000–$165,000 Base + BonusesSign-On Bonus Available

We are partnered with an established and highly respected engineering consulting firm looking to add an experienced Mechanical Engineer to its growing team.

What You'll Be Working On

• Mission-critical facilities, including data centers and telecommunications infrastructure

• Commercial buildings and facilities

• Light industrial projects

• HVAC and mechanical building systems

• Projects involving both engineering design and construction coordination

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial and industrial facilities.

• Manage multiple engineering projects from concept through completion.

• Design and coordinate chillers, rooftop units, piping systems, ductwork, and related HVAC equipment.

• Collaborate directly with clients, owners, architects, contractors, and engineering teams.

• Lead project meetings and coordinate schedules, deliverables, and technical requirements.

• Provide construction administration support, including occasional site visits.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to overall team development.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Approximately 6–20 years of mechanical engineering experience in MEP consulting or HVAC construction.

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• Strong background in commercial or industrial HVAC design.

• Experience with chillers, rooftop units, ductwork, piping, and mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, and applicable building codes.

• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane TRACE, and Microsoft Office.

• Strong communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Mission-critical or data center experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• $120,000–$165,000 base salary, depending on experience

• Sign-on bonus available

• Annual performance-based bonuses, typically 3% or more of base salary

• 25 consecutive years of annual employee bonus payouts
