Job Description

 Looking to speak with all Mortage Lenders that are looking to join a strong community bank there in Ohio. The Senior Mortgage Lender originates first mortgage loans, promotes the Bank and its lending services to the real estate community referral partners, and helps to identify and serve the community’s financial needs. ****(Small base plus heavy commission role)

1. Responds to customer/contact inquiries regarding the association's loan products and customer's applications.
2. Keeps up-to-date on government regulations and the association's policies and procedures regarding lending; participates in quarterly compliance training on banking regulations for industry.
3. Promotes the association's Community Reinvestment Act loan program to real estate agents in low-to-moderate income neighborhoods.
4. Projects a positive image of the association and make sales contacts by participating in community activities, organizations, and business-related functions.
5. Cross-sells and keeps up-to-date on the association's entire product line including both lending and savings products.
6. Knows, understands, and complies with current fair lending laws and bank policies and procedures; addresses same at all times.
7. Manages service providers and vendors effectively; structures relationships with service providers in a strategic manner; sets expectations; develops performance metrics; measures vendor performance, provides feedback and holds accountable.
8. Other duties as required.

• Bachelor degree preferred
• 5+ years similar or related experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills
