Salary: $160,000–$170,000 annually, plus performance incentives and benefits

Overview:A growing professional services organization is looking to add a CFO Services Consultant to its team. This is a great opportunity for a finance and accounting professional who enjoys working directly with business owners and leadership teams to improve financial performance, provide strategic guidance, and help businesses make better decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong public accounting, accounting, finance, or financial advisory background and be comfortable stepping into a hands-on, client-facing role. This position will work across a variety of businesses and projects, providing fractional CFO support, financial analysis, forecasting, process improvement, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide fractional CFO and financial advisory support to business clients.

  • Develop financial models, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow tools to support strategic planning.

  • Work directly with leadership teams on financial performance, KPIs, profitability, and business improvement.

  • Assist with improving month-end close, financial reporting, and analysis processes.

  • Perform profitability and cost analysis by product, service, or customer.

  • Evaluate and improve accounting and ERP systems and processes.

  • Support acquisitions, due diligence, refinancing, and restructuring initiatives.

  • Assess financial and operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Help clients make informed decisions around growth, investments, and overall business strategy.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand advisory services.

  • Participate in business development through networking, referral relationships, and industry connections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant accounting, finance, public accounting, or advisory experience.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.

  • Experience working directly with business owners, executives, or other senior-level decision makers.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn financial information into actionable recommendations.

  • Experience with financial modeling, process improvement, or strategic financial planning is highly preferred.

  • CPA, MBA, or other relevant certification is a plus.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable managing multiple client engagements and working in a consulting/advisory environment.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary of $160,000–$170,000 annually, depending on experience.
