What You'll Do
- Manage tax engagements from planning through completion for a diverse client base.
- Review complex individual, partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing proactive tax planning and consulting services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional client service.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and senior accountants.
- Review workpapers, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Assist with workflow management, scheduling, and engagement planning.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the tax department through leadership and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 2+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience within a public accounting firm
- Strong technical knowledge of individual and business taxation
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for mentoring team members and developing future leaders
