Commercial Construction Superintendent
A leading commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on ground-up and renovation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established builder with a strong reputation and consistent backlog of work.
The ideal candidate is a proven field leader who can manage schedules, subcontractors, and job site operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily on-site construction activities for commercial projects · Manage subcontractors, vendors, and job site personnel · Coordinate project schedules and sequencing of trades · Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget · Maintain job site safety and enforce OSHA compliance · Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met · Communicate progress updates with Project Managers and leadership · Identify and resolve field issues proactively
Qualifications
· 5–10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction · Experience with ground-up and/or renovation projects · Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and sequencing · Proven ability to manage multiple trades and job site operations · Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications · Stable work history with reputable contractors · Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits
