Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital projects across multiple feed manufacturing operations within a growing cattle nutrition organization. This highly visible role will oversee projects at 5 feed mill and grain locations and serve as the primary point of accountability for planning, execution, communication, and successful delivery of capital initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on project professional who understands feed milling, grain handling, bulk material processing, or related industrial operations and enjoys managing projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans
• Lead projects from initial planning through commissioning and closeout
• Partner directly with Location Managers to identify operational needs and project priorities
• Coordinate and manage contractors, equipment vendors, engineers, and service providers
• Provide regular project updates to executive leadership and Board stakeholders
• Ensure projects comply with company safety standards and operational requirements
• Conduct site visits and maintain a strong field presence throughout project execution
• Collaborate with fellow Project Managers and the Director of Operations to align priorities and share best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Experience managing capital projects in feed milling, grain handling, animal nutrition, agriculture processing, or related industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of feed mill equipment, grain systems, conveying systems, processing equipment, or bulk material handling operations.
• Proven experience developing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Demonstrated success managing vendors, contractors, and external partners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting.
• Ability to travel daily between company locations as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
• Annual Bonus Opportunity: Up to $20,000
