Project Manager / Estimator – Paving & Roadway Construction
Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager / Estimator with experience in paving and roadway construction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience estimating and managing Federal, State, County, and City paving/roadway projects and be comfortable overseeing projects from estimating through completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates, bids, and proposals for paving and roadway projects.
- Manage projects, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field teams.
- Monitor project costs, production, and overall performance.
- Assist with change orders, pay applications, and project closeout.
- Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in civil construction, paving, or roadway projects.
- Experience estimating and/or managing Federal, State, County, and City projects.
- Knowledge of asphalt paving, roadway construction, grading, and related civil work.
- Ability to read plans and specifications.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Public works/DOT experience preferred.
