Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus
We are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator/Project Manager with strong experience in steel fabrication and erection. This role requires someone who can manage projects from cradle to grave — handling both estimating and project management duties. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fabrication and erection standards, with the ability to read and interpret both shop and design blueprint drawings.
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for steel fabrication and erection projects.
Manage projects from initial bidding through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and field coordination.
Ensure compliance with fabrication and erection standards and procedures.
Review and interpret shop drawings, design blueprints, and specifications.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Minimum 5 years of combined estimating and project management experience in structural steel fabrication and erection (flexible for the right candidate).
Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures.
AWS D1.1 certification is required; familiarity with AWS D1.5 is a plus.
Proficiency with Tekla is highly preferred
Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings.
Ability to work in a flexible hybrid environment — candidate must be able to drive into the office on various occasions, with remote work allowed at other times.
