Job Title: Senior Estimator / Project Manager – Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection

Location: (Hybrid Work Setting)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus


Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator/Project Manager with strong experience in steel fabrication and erection. This role requires someone who can manage projects from cradle to grave — handling both estimating and project management duties. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fabrication and erection standards, with the ability to read and interpret both shop and design blueprint drawings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for steel fabrication and erection projects.

  • Manage projects from initial bidding through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and field coordination.

  • Ensure compliance with fabrication and erection standards and procedures.

  • Review and interpret shop drawings, design blueprints, and specifications.

  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and deliver projects on time and within budget.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of combined estimating and project management experience in structural steel fabrication and erection (flexible for the right candidate).

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures.

  • AWS D1.1 certification is required; familiarity with AWS D1.5 is a plus.

  • Proficiency with Tekla is highly preferred

  • Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings.

  • Ability to work in a flexible hybrid environment — candidate must be able to drive into the office on various occasions, with remote work allowed at other times.
