gpac (The #1 Recruiting Firm in the Nation) is partnering with our client to identify a Litigation Paralegal (3+ Years) to join a well-established firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This is a strong opportunity for a paralegal seeking hands-on involvement in complex litigation matters, including exposure to both general litigation and ERISA-related work.
Position: Litigation Paralegal (3+ Years)
About the Role
This role supports attorneys across a variety of litigation matters, with responsibilities spanning case management, discovery, and trial preparation. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with attorneys and taking ownership of key components of active cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Manage and organize case files, timelines, and deadlines
- Support discovery efforts, including document review and production
- Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis and PACER
- Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trial
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Maintain calendars and ensure compliance with court deadlines
- Support attorneys in federal and state court matters, as well as arbitration
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Strong experience with discovery, pleadings, and case management
- Familiarity with federal court procedures preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple active cases
Preferred Experience
- Experience with ERISA or complex commercial litigation
- Exposure to litigation tools such as CaseMap or Trial Director
- Familiarity with billing/timekeeping systems
- Experience working in a billable environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000 DOE
