A well-established and growing litigation practice is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney (5+ years of experience) to join its Harrisburg office. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and senior attorneys on a diverse docket of corporate business and general litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
This is a strong opportunity for a motivated litigator who is ready to take on meaningful responsibility, develop client relationships, and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team.
What You’ll Do:
• Represent and support clients in corporate business and general civil litigation matters
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy and client needs
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents
• Assist in preparation of expert reports, mediation statements, and case strategy materials
• Handle court appearances and actively represent clients in proceedings
• Support all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
• Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, witness materials, and case files
• Ensure timely filing of court documents and compliance with strict deadlines
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on case development and litigation strategy
What We’re Looking For:
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience (federal court experience strongly preferred)
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to advocate persuasively
• Experience managing litigation matters from start to finish
• Strong organizational, time management, and case management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to professionalism and client service
• Proactive approach to litigation and problem-solving
