GPAC has partnered with a well-established, family-owned agricultural organization in South Central Pennsylvania to identify an experienced Senior Commodity Trader. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing grain origination and trading strategies for corn, wheat, and soybeans, supporting both internal feed milling operations and external marketing initiatives.

This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in commodity markets, builds strong supplier networks, and is driven to deliver consistent results in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement grain origination and trading strategies

  • Analyze market trends and conditions to guide buying decisions

  • Build and maintain strong supplier and producer relationships

  • Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely grain procurement

  • Collaborate with internal teams in feed milling, logistics, and marketing

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in grain trading and procurement

  • Strong knowledge of production agriculture and regional grain markets

  • Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • Familiarity with how grain commodities are traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and how market activity informs procurement strategy

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range: up to $190,000

  • Bonus potential: Up to 12% annually
