Civil Engineer – Project Manager
My client, a full-service civil and environmental engineering firm, is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer – Project Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, governmental, and environmental developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Manage all phases of civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and comply with regulatory standards.
Design and Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and environmental considerations.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surveyors, architects, and construction professionals, to deliver integrated solutions.
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in project deliverables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; candidates with Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and a path to PE licensure will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years in civil engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools; familiarity with surveying equipment and methodologies is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on client engagement and team coordination.
