Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney: Healthcare Defense Practice in Cranberry Township

Our client, an established Western Pennsylvania defense firm, is seeking a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience for its Cranberry Township office. The practice defends physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and other healthcare providers in professional liability claims throughout the Pittsburgh region.

This is an in-office role in Cranberry Township, where you will work alongside experienced trial attorneys in a close-knit, collaborative office.

What You'll Do

• Defend healthcare providers in medical professional liability lawsuits
• Review medical records and work closely with medical experts
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and reports to clients and carriers
• Take and defend depositions of parties, treating providers, and experts
• Assist with trial preparation and attend mediations and trials

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of medical malpractice defense, professional liability, or civil litigation experience
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Ability to understand and explain complex medical issues
• Commitment to working in office in Cranberry Township
