🔧 Commercial HVAC Estimator

We’re seeking a results‑driven Commercial HVAC Estimator with progressive mechanical estimating experience. Join a respected contractor with 20+ years delivering HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water, controls, sheet metal, and full‑lifecycle mechanical services across commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, and institutional markets.

🛠️ What You Will Do

• Lead quantity takeoffs, cost builds, and line‑item assemblies for HVAC/mechanical scopes

• Review plans and specs for ductwork, piping, equipment, controls, insulation, and balancing

• Prepare complete bid packages for projects ranging from $100K–$4M+

• Solicit, compare, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing

• Identify value‑engineering options while protecting margin

• Collaborate with leadership to refine pricing assumptions and leverage historical data

🎓 What We Expect

• 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience

• Strong blueprint/spec reading skills

• Familiarity with chillers, RTUs, pumps, VAV/controls, piping systems

• Organized, analytical, and comfortable with estimating software

• Coachable, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused
