FULLY CONFIDENTIAL OPPORTUNITY – COMMERCIAL ESTIMATOR
A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator to join its growing preconstruction team.

THE ROLE
- Prepare budgets and detailed estimates for commercial construction projects
- Support projects from conceptual estimating through final bid
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams
- Work on Design-Build, Construction Management, Negotiated, GMP, Lump Sum, and Design-Bid-Build projects
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed estimates
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Conduct scope reviews to eliminate gaps and reduce risk
- Prepare bid packages and supporting documentation
- Assist with budgeting throughout design
- Visit project sites as needed
- Build relationships with subcontractors and vendors
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and preconstruction presentations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of commercial estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and building systems
- Experience with conceptual estimating, budgeting, and competitive bidding
- Understanding of multiple project delivery methods
- Knowledge of CSI divisions and commercial buyout processes
- Proficiency in Excel and estimating software
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
