TRUCK DRIVER RECRUITER

Location:  Greenville, SC

Salary: 65000.00 to 75000.00 DOE + Bonus for every driver hired

A well-established Transportation Company that has been in business for over 40 years, known for their great reputation and top-notch service, is looking for a Driver Recruiter to join their team.

Truck driver recruiter qualifications 

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with people
• Sales or recruiting experience
• Trucking or transportation experience
• Communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Thorough knowledge of DOT regulations and shipping requirements for all modes of shipments

Truck driver recruiter job responsibilities 

• Respond to and act on inbound leads
• Promote driving opportunities
• Assist with weekly reporting and driver retention
• Develop leads for all roles through referrals, cold calls, online platforms, and other resources
• Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal and state laws
• Recruit qualified candidates and maintain a driver count appropriate to the needs of the location
• Experience in Truck driver recruiting process/ Screening, checking backgrounds and driving records, Interviews, Physicals, and References
• Must be willing to attend job fairs and extracurricular activities in order to recruit
• Monitor drivers for 90 days after hiring
