Job Description

A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to oversee day-to-day HR operations and serve as a key resource for employees and leadership. This is a hands on position covering recruiting, employee relations, benefits, payroll, safety, training, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Administer employee benefits, compensation, bonuses, and rewards programs.
  • Coordinate bi-weekly payroll, wage reviews, reporting, and related audits.
  • Manage workers' compensation, workplace safety, and OSHA-related investigations and reporting.
  • Develop and conduct employee training and companywide meetings.
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to both employees and management.
  • Assist with additional administrative and HR initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR or related experience.
  • Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, recruiting, benefits, and employment regulations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
