A leading meat processing manufacturer is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at a large-scale pork processing facility. This is a top leadership role with full responsibility for a 500-person plant overseeing harvest and fabrication operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all plant operations across kill floor and cut/package (harvest + fabrication)
- Drive production efficiency, yield, and cost control in a high-volume environment
- Ensure strict compliance with USDA, food safety, and regulatory standards
- Develop and lead a team of supervisors and department managers across a 500-person workforce
- Champion a safety-first culture and continuous improvement initiatives
- Optimize labor, throughput, and plant performance metrics
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and operational goals
Qualifications
- Required: Experience in pork processing manufacturing
- Proven leadership experience as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Production Leader in a meat processing facility
- Strong background in harvest and fabrication operations
- Experience managing large teams (300+ employees preferred)
- Deep understanding of yield optimization, throughput, and cost controls
- Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, and food safety programs
- Track record of improving operational performance in high-volume environments
