Job Description

Healthcare Superintendent / Site Supervisor

Northern Colorado | $60M+ Hospital Project

A highly respected national commercial general contractor is actively hiring now for a senior Healthcare Superintendent / Site Supervisor who will take a leading role on a $60M+ hospital construction project in Northern Colorado scheduled to begin in 2027.

The company wants to bring the right person onto the team now so they can become involved in the planning and preconstruction process and be fully prepared to lead the project when construction begins.

This is a high-level opportunity for a proven healthcare construction professional who has the experience and leadership ability to oversee the full field execution of a major hospital project.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will have significant responsibility for the overall field operations of a $60M+ hospital, working directly with project leadership, subcontractors, trade partners, owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

The company places a strong emphasis on having its construction professionals involved throughout the full execution process, giving the Superintendent meaningful input from planning and preconstruction through project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all field construction operations for a $60M+ hospital project

  • Participate in preconstruction, planning, scheduling, logistics, and project execution strategy

  • Establish and maintain project schedules and sequencing in coordination with project management

  • Direct subcontractors, trade partners, vendors, and field personnel

  • Coordinate complex healthcare construction activities across multiple trades

  • Lead daily planning and project coordination efforts

  • Monitor project progress, quality, safety, schedule, and productivity

  • Identify potential issues and develop solutions before they impact the project

  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders

  • Ensure construction is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and project requirements

  • Maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and professionalism

  • Mentor and develop field staff throughout the project

  • Drive successful project completion, commissioning, and turnover

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive commercial construction experience

  • A strong background in healthcare and hospital construction

  • Experience leading large-scale, complex construction projects

  • Proven ability to oversee full field execution and lead multiple subcontractors and trades

  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, logistics, and quality control

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • The ability to operate independently while working closely with project and company leadership

  • A demonstrated track record of delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality

Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a major hospital construction project with a contractor that is highly respected within the industry.

Rather than stepping into a project after construction is underway, the selected Superintendent will be brought on now and have the opportunity to become part of the project's execution strategy from the early stages.

The company is looking for someone who wants to take on a significant leadership role and who has the experience to successfully deliver a project of this size and complexity.

Compensation

The company is prepared to offer a highly competitive compensation package for the right candidate and is more focused on finding an exceptional long-term fit than simply filling a position.

Compensation: $130,000–$180,000+ depending on experience and qualifications. Highly competitive package for the right candidate.

Location: Northern Colorado — Relocation assistance available
