Confidential Accounting Associate
A well-established luxury residential construction firm in the Franklin, Tennessee area is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support daily accounting operations and office administration. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for employees, vendors, and clients while helping maintain efficient financial and operational processes.
This is a full-time, fully in-office position offering long-term stability, strong team culture, and competitive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable process including invoice entry, approvals, and vendor payments
- Maintain vendor records and supporting payment documentation
- Handle accounts payable across multiple entities
- Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts
- Support office administration and operational projects as needed
- Professionally answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems
- Update company records, documents, and asset listings
- Respond to employee, vendor, and client inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as requested
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting accounting functions, office operations, or accounts payable processes
- Previous experience within the construction or home building industry is a plus
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting platforms preferred
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Highly organized with the ability to maintain accuracy and manage detailed information
- Proven ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a busy office environment
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a customer-service mindset
- Collaborative team player with a polished and professional approach
- High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or degree in accounting, finance, or business is beneficial
