Accounting Assistant

A leading home builder with a reputation for excellence and a commitment to quality, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team!

Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports with precision and efficiency
• Reconcile bank statements and perform journal entries
• Assist with financial audits and prepare supporting documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Accounting Assistant Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Monitor and analyze financial information to identify discrepancies or opportunities for cost savings
• Support the financial team in ad-hoc projects and analysis
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Accounting Assistant Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
