Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities:  

  • Participate in the development, implementation, and interpretation of Human Resource policies, practices and procedures
  • Manage employee relations activities and communications, maintaining positive work environment
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints, providing coaching and facilitation as needed
  • Assist with the creation, development and implementation of employee training programs to meet current and future business needs and maintain employee training records
  • Maintain HRIS records
  • Responsible for talent acquisition in line with budgeted expectations and organizational goals, tracking of applicant data, and reporting as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred
  • Must come from a HVAC, Mechanical or Construction background 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources within a manufacturing environment
  • In-depth knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures as well as experience administering safety programs
  • Proficiency in a HRIS system and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented approach and ability to establish rapport and trust quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
