POSITION SUMMARY: The successful candidate will become an integral member of a reputable General Contracting team supervising on-site building activities. Our firm specializes in, but not limited to: new healthcare facilities, renovations, and additions all over the US.
JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain responsible construction schedule and budget
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities with documentation such as work permits, preconstruction risk assessments, infection control risk assessments, etc.
- Maintain a safe jobsite for the team and subcontractor employees
- Represent the company as Best-in-Class in job meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Ability to effectively use different computer software to complete daily tasks such as expense approval for receipts, pictures, email, site management, time entry, etc.
- Communicate with leadership and project manager regarding jobsite requirements to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule
- All other duties assigned by Field Operations Director
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of healthcare construction experience as a superintendent is strongly desired
- Ability to effectively communicate professionally with all personnel, clients, customers, and architects
- Strong managerial skills
- Familiarity with computers and ability to use company software
- Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license
- Team player
- Willing to train proper candidates of the next generation
- Must be able to Travel
- Ensuring that safety practices are followed on the job site
- Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret instructions
