Senior Project Manager – Commercial Drywall
A well-established commercial construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in commercial drywall, metal framing, and related interior systems.
The ideal candidate has experience leading complex projects, managing financial performance, and developing strong relationships with clients and field teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial drywall, interiors, specialty contracting, or related construction
- Experience with drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, or related scopes
- Experience managing multiple and/or large commercial projects
- Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project profitability
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- 7+ years of commercial drywall Project Management experience
- Experience managing projects valued at $5M+
- Experience mentoring Project Managers, APMs, and project teams
- Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and contract management
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, OST, Quick Bid, or similar software
- Degree in Construction Management or related field
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex commercial drywall projects from award through closeout
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, costs, and profitability
- Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, materials, and project resources
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation
- Maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, vendors, and project partners
- Identify and resolve project risks while protecting schedule and profitability
- Mentor and support Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
- Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance
Compensation, Benefits & Perks:
- Competitive base salary: $110,000 – $150,000+ (depending on experience and market)
