Real Estate Associate Attorney | Austin, TX
A highly regarded law firm in Austin is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 5–7 years of commercial real estate experience to join its growing practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with a Big Law background and strong academic credentials who is looking to work on sophisticated, high-value transactions alongside an experienced real estate team.
What You'll Do
- Represent clients in the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of commercial, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, restrictive covenants, and development agreements
- Conduct title and survey review and coordinate due diligence efforts
- Advise lenders and borrowers on commercial real estate financing, including construction and permanent loans
- Support complex entity structuring and joint venture transactions
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver strategic, business-focused legal solutions
What We're Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
- 5–7 years of commercial real estate experience
- Big Law or other sophisticated commercial real estate practice experience preferred
- Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and commercial leasing transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work directly with clients and manage sophisticated matters
