Ready to be the financial leader behind a growing construction and roofing services company? An established, fast-growing contractor in Austin is hiring a Controller to own its accounting function and help steer its next stage of growth, including acquisitions and private equity partnerships. You'll have real influence, work directly with leadership, and see your work shape where the business goes.
What You'll Do
- Lead the accounting function, including month-end and year-end close, financial statements and reporting
- Manage percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition, job costing and WIP schedules
- Support M&A activity, including due diligence, integration and reporting for PE stakeholders
- Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and internal controls
- Work with outside auditors, tax advisors and lenders
- Build and develop a strong accounting team and its processes
What You Bring
- Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
- CPA preferred
- M&A and private equity experience preferred
- Construction and POC accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills
