Senior / Lead Project Manager – Structural Steel

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior / Lead Project Manager to oversee structural steel fabrication and erection projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate has strong experience in structural steel and thrives in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases of structural steel projects, including preconstruction, execution, and closeout
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk
  • Coordinate with detailing, fabrication, and field erection teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, GCs, and key stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractors, and material deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and project specifications
  • Mentor and support project managers, engineers, and project staff
  • Drive problem-solving and maintain progress on complex or fast-track projects

Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication and/or erection
  • Strong understanding of drawings, detailing, connection design coordination, and field operations
  • Proven track record managing large, complex steel projects
  • Experience working with general contractors and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
