Job Title: Estimator – Structural Steel

Overview:
We are seeking an Estimator with experience in structural steel to support project bidding and preconstruction efforts. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and helping position the company to win work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for structural steel projects
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors
• Assist with bid preparation, pricing, and proposal development
• Collaborate with project managers, detailing, and operations teams
• Track bid opportunities and maintain estimating records

Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of estimating experience in structural steel or construction
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
