Assistant Project Manager – Developer/Builder

A well-established developer-builder is looking to add an experienced Assistant Project Manager to their team. This is a great opportunity for an APM looking to grow their construction career while gaining valuable exposure to the owner and development side of the industry.

The company is involved in exciting, large-scale projects including mixed-use developments, multifamily, hotels, entertainment venues, and high-rise projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with the planning and execution of large-scale construction projects
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and development teams
  • Assist with project schedules, budgets, contracts, and documentation
  • Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Track project progress and help resolve issues
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders
  • Gain exposure to the development and owner side of projects from planning through completion

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of commercial construction experience preferred
  • Experience working on multifamily, hospitality, mixed-use, high-rise, or other large-scale projects is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency with construction software such as Procore preferred
