Job Description

An established Dallas-based development and project management firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team to work on major, high-profile projects.

This position offers the opportunity to be involved with a large, complex development from design and preconstruction through construction and completion. The Project Manager will work closely with ownership, architects, engineers, general contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to keep the project moving forward.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day project coordination and execution
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and ownership
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, contracts, and overall progress
• Participate in design and preconstruction meetings
• Review project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project requirements
• Identify potential issues and help drive solutions before they impact the project
• Maintain strong communication between all project stakeholders
• Assist with project reporting, forecasting, and overall project controls

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of commercial construction, development, or owner's representative experience
• Experience working on large, complex commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of the construction process from preconstruction through closeout
• Experience managing multiple consultants and project stakeholders
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with large institutional, higher education, civic, hospitality, mixed-use, or similar projects is a plus
