A highly respected development and project management firm is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join its team in Dallas, Texas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer who has built a strong foundation in commercial construction and is ready to step into an APM role with greater responsibility, exposure, and opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination and execution
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation
• Track schedules, budgets, procurement, and project milestones
• Participate in design, preconstruction, and construction meetings
• Help identify project issues and follow through on solutions
• Maintain accurate project reporting and documentation
• Take on increasing project responsibility as experience and knowledge grow
Qualifications:
• 2–5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Project Engineer experience with a commercial general contractor, developer, or construction management firm preferred
• Experience supporting large or complex commercial projects
• Understanding of RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, schedules, and change management
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
