Role Overview
The General Superintendent will have full responsibility for field execution, site leadership, and schedule performance across multiple concurrent scopes. This role is critical to driving coordination between self-perform teams and trade partners while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction operations across the campus
- Manage and coordinate multiple superintendents and field teams
- Drive execution of self-performed scopes, including:
- Medium voltage electrical
- Equipment foundations (transformer/generator pads, duct banks)
- Underground utilities
- Mechanical piping (partial scope)
- Precast systems and OFE setting
- Oversee subcontractor coordination where applicable
- Maintain and enforce project schedule and sequencing
- Partner closely with project management, engineering, and client teams
- Champion safety, quality, and productivity across all site activities
- Lead planning for phased turnover of data halls
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in construction field leadership roles
- Proven experience as a General Superintendent or Senior Superintendent
- Strong background in mission-critical projects (data centers preferred)
- Experience working with or for self-perform general contractors is highly preferred
- Deep understanding of MEP systems and infrastructure-heavy builds
- Ability to lead large teams and manage complex, fast-track schedules
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $200K–$250K
- Bonus: ~30%
- Full benefits package + 401(k) match
Per Diem / Mobility
- $2,000/week per diem (qualifying role)
