Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney

About the Opportunity

A well-established and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated attorney to join its litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys advocating for injured clients, taking ownership of a meaningful caseload, and working alongside experienced trial lawyers.

The ideal candidate is driven, client-focused, and eager to maximize case value while preparing matters for trial when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Conduct case evaluations and develop litigation strategy
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Attend hearings and court appearances
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process
• Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and support staff to ensure efficient case handling

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience handling depositions and motion practice
• Trial experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload while prioritizing deadlines
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and client service skills
