Automation Engineer / Controls Engineer

San Antonio Metro Area, TX

A growing industrial manufacturing company is seeking an Mid-Level experienced Automation Engineer / Controls Engineer to support

automation projects, improve production efficiency, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and automated systems
• Support machine upgrades, automation projects, and process improvements
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues to reduce downtime
• Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams
• Assist with equipment startup, commissioning, and system optimization

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automation or controls experience in manufacturing
• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot controls systems
• Robotics, motion control, or SCADA experience is a plus
