Dallas Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney – 3+ Years Experience

Growing multi-state defense litigation firm is seeking a motivated and ambitious attorney to join our thriving Dallas office. Our firm handles sophisticated and challenging matters across a wide range of practice areas, including construction law, healthcare liability, oil and gas, product liability, trucking and transportation, catastrophic injury, construction defect, premises liability, and insurance defense coverage litigation. We are looking for an attorney who is ready to take ownership of cases, sharpen litigation skills, and gain hands-on courtroom experience alongside accomplished trial lawyers.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience with a strong background in insurance defense litigation preferred. This role is perfect for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys tackling complex legal issues, and wants the opportunity to try cases while working with a collaborative and supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas
  • 3+ years of litigation experience preferred
  • Experience in insurance defense strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and critical thinking abilities
  • Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines and comply with detailed client reporting requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage cases from inception through resolution
  • Handle written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and hearings
  • Analyze liability, damages, settlement value, and verdict exposure
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide timely case evaluations and reporting
  • Collaborate with partners and fellow attorney team members on litigation strategy
  • Prepare cases for trial and participate in courtroom proceedings

Trial experience is not required, but candidates with courtroom experience or a strong desire to become a trial attorney are highly encouraged to apply. Experience handling insurance defense matters involving complex litigation is a major plus.
