Looking to grow your safety career in steel? A steel fabrication shop near Richmond, TX needs a Shop Safety Coordinator to guide its safety efforts on the floor. The position pays $25-$30 per hour and comes with incredible benefits, real growth opportunity and steady overtime of about 10 hours a week.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and audits and correct hazards
• Investigate incidents and keep OSHA records and documentation
• Run day-to-day safety programs on the fabrication floor
• Collaborate with shop leadership to build a strong safety culture
• Lead safety trainings, toolbox talks and new-hire orientations

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and comfort on a shop floor
• Safety experience in a manufacturing, fabrication or construction setting
• Ability to work on-site in Richmond, TX, including about 10 hours of overtime per week
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
